Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival proudly presents

The Lucas Bros (CANCELLED) (USA)

The Lucas Bros have unfortunately had to cancel their Melbourne International Comedy Festival run.

Identical twin comedy duo Keith and Kenny Lucas continue their rise as two of the freshest, most dynamic faces on the US comedy scene! Known for their insightful and satirical take on social issues, they often critique America's inequality with their deadpan humour carving out a niche for themselves in the comedy world.

Since dropping out of law school to become comedians, Keith and Kenny have starred in their own Netflix special On Drugs, were recurring characters in Maria Bamford’s series Lady Dynamite and appeared as scene-stealing twins in the hit film 22 Jump Street. As co-writers of the critically acclaimed film Judas and the Black Messiah, the Lucas Bros received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay.

Bret “The Hitman” Hart is their favourite person of all time.

‘A disarming sweetness and a clever, stylized casualness.’ The New York Times

‘Ridiculously hilarious.’ The Age
