2023 RAW Comedy National Grand Final on SBS Viceland

Catch all the hilarious action from the 2023 RAW Comedy National Grand Final, as finalists from across the country bring their a-game to the ‘comedy playoffs’ in search of Australia's best new talent. 

Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s RAW Comedy is the largest and longest running national open mic competition in Australia. Celebrating the freshest and funniest new talent from around the country, the 2023 final was recorded live on Sunday 16 April at Melbourne Town Hall, hosted by the wonderful Dilruk Jayasinha with the top 13 competing to win the RAW Comedy crown.

The 2023 RAW Comedy national finalists are Elysia Hall (NSW), Ginny Hollands (VIC), Hadi Kilman (SA), Henry Yan (VIC), Jack O’Sullivan (TAS), Jacquelyn Richards (ACT), Jarryd Prain (NSW), Meg Jager (QLD), Nicole Shi (WA), Rapha Manajem (VIC), Scott Northover (NT), Trish Hurley (ACT) and William Wang (VIC).

For 28 years RAW Comedy has been discovering the newest voices in Australian comedy and boasts some of the country’s favourite comedians amongst its alumni including Hannah GadsbyRonny ChiengCelia PacquolaMatt Okine, Becky Lucas, Josh Thomas, Anne EdmondsLuke McGregor, Claire Hooper and Aaron Chen.

RAW Comedy 2023 airs on SBS Viceland on Saturday 22 July, 9.25pm.
