Festival Partner Godfrey Hirst rolls out the carpet for thousands of comedy lovers again in 2024

For a second year the Melbourne International Comedy Festival joined forces with Godfrey Hirst as the exclusive carpet and flooring partner of the Festival – seeing thousands of comedy lovers walk the red carpet at Melbourne Town Hall, and a selection of Festival venues across the city.

Throughout the festival, a diverse range of standard and custom carpets adorned venues such as Trades Hall, the Chinese Museum, The Victoria Hotel, Rydges Melbourne, and Melbourne Town Hall.

A standout feature of this year’s partnership was the collaboration between Feltex and Elephant in the Room to create a captivating lounge space at the iconic Trades Hall Festival Hub. Designed by Bree Leech, the lounge exuded a maximalist-inspired aesthetic, characterized by bold colours, eclectic furnishings, and a playful ambiance, complemented by Godfrey Hirst’s designer carpet brand, Feltex. The lounge provided a vibrant setting for audiences to unwind and enjoy a pre- or post-show catch up with friends, accompanied by Elephant in the Room wine.
