Arbory's Silent Comedy Festival
Get ready to don your headphones and laugh out loud (to yourself) with the return of Arbory Bar & Eatery's annual Silent Comedy Festival.
Putting an entertaining spin on a traditional comedy show, it's an experience much like a silent disco in which guests can enjoy sarcastic gags, jokes, banter and zinging one-liners through headphones; spontaneously breaking out into laughter in response to what seems like nothing at all.
An all-star line-up of local and international comedians will take to the mic this year, including local crowd favourites and surprise international guests. Jimeoin, Lawrence Mooney, Simon Taylor, Ting Lim, Dolly Diamond, Bev Killick, Bob Franklin, Andrew Barnett and Takashi Wakasugi are just a few of those set to make an appearance. Hosted on select Wednesdays & Thursdays from 27 March - 18 April, sessions begin at 8pm each night and run until 9.30 pm, with a 15-minute intermission. Tickets start at $30 per person, inclusive of five sets from five comedians.
