Live! Talking! Girl!

GIRL GIRL GIRL is the long-awaited debut solo show from me, Bridget Hassed, A RAW Comedy State Finalist and all round cool guy. I’m hot off the heels of returning from Good Chat Comedy & Sydney Fringe Festivals, and I’m excited to bring you my new show!

“Women are sooo good at multitasking!” they regurgitate in cross-eyed masses, referring to the many plates we’re able to keep spinning at any given time (you’re all welcome, by the way). Realistically, the true versatility of women is how quickly we go from being feral, angry, sexy, tired, and somehow feeling the skinniest and fattest you’ve ever felt in the space of 3 hours. We really can have it all!

I BRAVELY reveal how I’m not where I thought I was going to be, trying to be ok with that, while also tearing down every single concept that annoys me for more than 2.5 seconds. There’s no real deep message (although if you find one, feel free to tell the people who do the awards!) but I’ve had enough of comparing myself to others (I won’t stop, I’m just aware of it), trying to figure out how to have it all, and thinking that maybe THIS Himalayan guttural chanting ritual is the key to fixing it all!
