Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

To access the performance space, there is a large wooden staircase of 20+ steps leading up two flights of stairs and through a door at the top of the stairs. The doors opens directly into the performance space, behind the stage.

There is a lift to the performance space, however there are 6 stairs leading from the street level to the lift so there is no step-free/wheelchair access to the internal lift.

Bathrooms
Bathrooms are available at the rear of the performance space and are only accessible once the house is open.

Bar
There will be no bar or beverage service at the Swiss Club this year. For patrons arriving early, there are restaurant and bar options next door to the Swiss Club, however no external food/drink is to be taken inside the venue. Water will be available at the venue.
