Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Jacqueline Mifsud The Full Mifsud

Jacqueline Mifsud The Full Mifsud

Jacqueline Mifsud is 38 and thriving! Partner? No! Children? No! Property? Hell no! She's flipping the script on societal norms and living life on her own uproarious terms! Yes that’s right, she’s sold all her stuff to tell jokes around Australia. Her mission: 40 shows before 40.

Jacqueline Mifsud is winning hearts and awards across the globe. Known for her unique quick wit and uncensored inner monologue, the manic Maltese-Australian dynamo has graced stages at prestigious comedy festivals worldwide. She's a winner of the Best of the Fest award at Hobart Fringe (2019) and the recipient/winner of the 2020 Stand-up! Grant. Plus, she's warmed up TV audiences for ABC's Q&A, Channel 10's Would I Lie to You and other popular shows.

The Full Mifsud is a rallying cry to all the gorgeous freaks, weirdos and free spirits out there – the ones who dance to their unique beat and defy expectations. From her Maltese heritage to mental health, Muay Thai and the quirks of being single, childless and self employed in your 30s, Jacqueline is going all-in on laughter, insight and an empowering celebration of embracing your true self.

Join Jacqueline and have a laugh at this silly thing we call life.
