Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Henry Shaw & Fraser Mitchell We'll Get There Together: A Neighbours Retrospective

Henry Shaw & Fraser Mitchell We'll Get There Together: A Neighbours Retrospective

The 'We'll Get There Together' podcast presents it's second most ill-conceived idea, after it's first most ill-conceived idea of watching all 9,000 episodes of Neighbours in chronological order. Following on from the success* of their first two seasons covering 1985 and 1986, writers** Henry Shaw and Fraser Mitchell are taking a dive into 1987 to watch all of that year's episodes. You're probably thinking, "That doesn't sound too bad. Nine days to watch one series of television, what's the catch?". There are 237 20-minute episodes of Neighbours in 1987. It's about 80 hours of Neighbours, streaming directly into their faces. Seasons 1 and 2 of the podcast took three months to complete. They may not make it, but are now contractually obligated to suffer.

What will happen? Who knows! Come along to find out! Catch up with the descent into madness by listening to Season 1 of 'We'll Get There Together', available wherever you listen to podcasts!
