Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

Mitsubishi $20 Tix returns along with a new one-night-only event 'Laugh Outlandish'

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s relationship with Mitsubishi Motors continues for a second year in 2022.

The much loved ticketing promotion, Mitsubishi Tix, is back! Providing a limited number of $20 tickets to a range of performances including Aaron Chen, Becky Lucas, David O’Doherty (IRL), Dilruk Jayasinha, Fern Brady (UK), Ivan Aristeguieta, Melanie Bracewell (NZ), Michelle Brasier, Rhys Nicholson, Tommy Little and many more across the Festival.

What makes this even better than a cheap ticket, is that Mitsubishi supports artists and the industry by paying an extra $10 to artists for each ticket sold. Ticket-buyer pays $20, artist gets $30!

Mitsubishi Tix is available now, head here for all participating artists and performances.

But it doesn’t end there! The Festival will have its very own Mitsubishi Outlander Comedy Convoy out on the road for your chance to win Festival tickets. If you spot one of the all-new co-branded Mitsubishi Outlanders out on the streets, scan the QR code on the side of the car and you could win a $100 gift voucher, redeemable for tickets to a massive number of Festival shows!

Mitsubishi also joins with the Festival to present a one-night only money-can’t-buy event – Laugh Outlandish – featuring a huge line up of some of the best comics at the Festival on Monday 18 April. For the chance to win tickets to this outlandish event, Mitsubishi and the Festival are inviting Melburnians to nominate someone they think is 10/10. It might be a neighbour, a friend, a family member, or someone in their community they think is great and deserves to be spoilt with a night full of style, fun, flare and frivolity. Winners and a guest (& their nominator and guest) will head to this very special event.

Shaun Westcott, Mitsubishi Motors Australia's CEO said, “Mitsubishi Motors is proud to continue its strong relationship with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival as automotive partner.

“Through Mitsubishi Tix we continue to support the arts and entertainment industry which has been so impacted over the last couple of years, while providing the community with great value access to some of the Festival’s best comedic talent.

The Laugh Outlandish event furthers this community connection, giving people the chance to spoil someone who makes their world greater. What better way to celebrate than with laughter?”

Damien Hodgkinson, Executive Director, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, said, “We are excited to continue our major partnership with Mitsubishi Motors as the Festival’s automotive partner, delivering the hugely popular Mitsubishi Tix that is a true win-win for patrons and artists. Watch out for the bright, bold and stylish Mitsubishi Outlander Comedy Convoy that will brighten our streets as they zip around the Festival.”
