RAW COMEDY
RAW Comedy is Australia’s largest and most prestigious open mic comedy competition. For over 20 years RAW Comedy has brought the nation’s best new performers to light, with past competitors including Hannah Gadsby, Ronny Chieng, Celia Pacquola, Luke McGregor and Anne Edmonds. DEADLY FUNNY
Cheeky and loud, black and proud, Deadly Funny is Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s national comedy competition unearthing the freshest and funniest Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander talent from across the country. CLASS CLOWNS
Class Clowns is Melbourne International Comedy Festival's development program for young people around the country. Comprising a national comedy competition and workshop program for schools, Class Clowns engages and inspires young funny peeps to hone their potential. LOL SQUAD
LOL Squad is a development program for teenage comedians from the Class Clowns program, presented by Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Arts Centre Melbourne. Together with a range of professional mentors, LOL Squad write, act, film and edit original sketches and perform a live show during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. ROADSHOW
For over 20 years the Melbourne International Comedy Festival has been touring around Australia, bringing all the fun of the Festival to cities and towns nationwide. Beginning at the close of the Festival, the Roadshow visits over 80 destinations before heading to Asia, visiting Hong Kong, Singapore and India. Read more about Roadshow here.

COMEDY AT THE ESPY
Presented by Hotel Esplanade and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, we're delighted to fill the iconic Gershwin Room with jam-packed comedy showcases, starring some of your favourite big-name comedians alongside Melbourne’s most exciting up-and-comers.
