Tom Cashman’s latest hour of comedy is masterfully constructed and delightfully witty.
He’s the Australian Taskmaster’s assistant and appears on Channel 10’s The Project but it wouldn’t be hard to argue that being onstage is where Cashman is at his absolute best. Armed with a powerpoint and graphs that are so cleverly constructed this show is 60 straight minutes of side splitting laughter.
A show entitled Everything may seem like a high bar to clear, but if anyone comes close it’s Tom Cashman. Job, romance, family and friends and more is covered as the audience is treated to possibly one of the funniest ‘I can’t believe that happened on live tv’ stories. Cashman’s likeability easily shines through as he delivers just earnestly enough that the crowd is more than willing to follow him into weirder and weirder topics. This show is a credit to those of us who are detail orientated and don’t mind winning on a technicality.
