Comedian and writer for ABC’s Hard Quiz Elyce Phillips expertly crafts an hour of absurd sketch comedy that is wholly original and entirely enjoyable in the same way that an obscure movie from your childhood is - you’re not exactly sure what happened but you definitely want to watch it again.
The show is clearly a personal time capsule of Phillips’s brain but yet comes across as oddly relatable and will have you in stitches over infomercials, dentist ads, character sketches and a prop of a remote control that put simply, is so goddam funny. Bonus points too for using her surname ‘Phillips’ as the tv brand!
