Within the first couple of minutes of Bec Petraitis coming onstage the packed out audience is treated to a song and one of the finest 'your Mum' jokes.
Nerd F*ck is a love letter to nerd culture, jam packed with references that will delight exactly the right kind of people, while still being acessible enough for nerd allies.
The show covers everything from video game consoles, to cosplay, to swords, all with her infectious charm and clear burning passion for it. It would be hard not to get swept up and thoroughly laugh at this delightful 50 minutes of comedy. Making use of props and a projector onto the white wall behind her this show is a really good time. For a show that starts off the bat (apologies for the sport term reference) with a 'your Mum' joke it ends with a surprisingly moving final message.
