The Funny Tonne

Are Dead

Are Dead

Dylan Murphy and Molly Daniels are a classic case of adorably co-dependant best friends who are living their best lives…Until they both die and must find a way to spend eternity in heaven together. But not in a romantic way. Ew.

This show has pretty much everything you could want, catchy songs, platonic chemistry, and of course references to ABC3’s golden era of children’s tv programming (Prank Patrol anyone?!). Murphy and Daniels have created an incredibly tight and well written 55 minutes of work. In fact I was at risk of missing some jokes because of the audience and I’s laughter.

Anyone who grew up idolising Daniels in You’re Skitting me will be delighted by this performance. Having created two webseries together she and Murphy work flawlessly together. The product is a creation so witty and entertaining that it’s a shame not to have it exist outside of this festival.
