Lizzy Hoo is a stand-out on Have You Been Paying Attention? and her latest hour of comedy does not disappoint!
Hoo’s That Girl? is a delightful mix of sweet, earnest, dark, and of course hilarious! Expect to hear about her breakup, sharing custody of her dog, quite possibly the best Star Wars x cancer pun (yes seriously) and some incredible wordplay using her surname. Even when Hoo is talking about darker and more serious topics she never loses the crowd, instead managing to tread the line perfectly and leave the audience in stitches with her witty charm.
It’s an effortlessly laugh heavy 60 minutes, but there’s also a lovely amount of charm in this show, and the ending perfectly ties it all together.
