Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

The Funny Tonne

This Glass House Makes it Easy to See All the Cowards I'm Throwing Stones At

This Glass House Makes it Easy to See All the Cowards I'm Throwing Stones At

Guy Williams’s show is a triumph and absolutely chaotic delight.

In This Glass House Makes it Easy to See All the Cowards I’m Throwing Stones At Guy Williams will cover everything from Australia’s racism problem, Cotton On, the struggle of finding correctly fitting pants as a tall guy, and just about everything in between. Williams’s brain appears to be racing at all times and the result is an incredible, if intense show. If he were in danger of coming across as too harsh it’s dispelled by his intensely likeable personality, even as he wades into murky water it would be hard not to be entertained by this show.

Jam-packed with gags that will have you doubled over with laughter, and some really clever punchlines, this is Guy Williams at his best and it’s pretty goddamn excellent!
