Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

The Funny Tonne

Hi, Delusion!

Hi, Delusion!

Johanna Cosgrove is an absolute force to be reckoned with.

Part standup and part sketch Hi, Delusion is a gloriously wild ride. From the moment Cosgrove enters stage to the finale which features a blow up sex doll, there’s just about as much chaos as you could pack into 60 minutes.

It’s edgy and often veers perhaps a little too far into the dark or cringe, but when Cosgrove is nailing it she’s really nailing it. A highlight is a story which contains the best use of Little Lion Man by Mumford & Sons in any comedy show, probably ever.
