Melbourne International Comedy Festival acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which we work and live. We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' spirit, imagination and rich history of storytelling and humour that is an inspiration to all Australians.

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.

The Funny Tonne

On And On And On

On And On And On

Rose Matefeo has created a joyful night of comedy centred around the mental stability of being single, going through break ups and noticing different things when we are older. Matefeo retells stories and anecdotes of situations audiences have found all too familiar-the delightful anonymity of incognito mode  in Chrome to name just one.

The show is organised in a manner that brings new jokes and topics into more of a natural conversation-a loose story of a quest to find solitude in multiple mysterious internet health professionals framing most of the show.

The fully-on-board and sold out audience atmosphere overall led to a night of major laughs, with the hilarious end being "I guess I'll come back and do this tomorrow!"
